Idle speed control valve - ISC
Stepper Thottle Motor - STM
The above type ISC's all have a number stamped on the back of them which identifies its model.
It should look like the following number E9Txxxxx
It is very important you confirm your old E9Txxxxx number before ordering.
It is stamped on the back of the body of the ISC valve under the 6 pin plug section.
It can be in white ink, black ink or melted into the plastic.
Below pictures are examples of where to locate it:
Old ISC design - this design should not be used as it is the old type that burns out
If replacing your ISC make sure you install the new black plastic type. See below.
